SUMMARY OF THE PARENT CABINET GENERAL MEETING ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2021
- All people welcome to attend PC meetings. 2nd Wednesday of each month at Foxborough park at 9am.
- New PC Treasurer nominated – Jaime Lloyd.
- Thursday, September 9 is final day to order Spirit Wear.
- Please bring bags for Clothes for Cash- put in 13 gallon bag or larger, label “Journey”, and place in shed on front playground
- Keep an eye out for upcoming fundraisers at Pumpkin City (revised date 10/5), Book Fair, and local restaurant fundraisers. Also working to create Harvest Fair and Fairy market plans. Let Lindsay Allbee or anyone on Parent Cabinet know if you are interested in helping with any fundraisers. Also, the Diversity/Equity/Inclusion/Justice working group will be looking for class representatives soon.
- ParentSquare is the central location for all classroom and school communication. Contact Kim Welsh if you are having any trouble.
- Mr. Keller provided an Administrative Update. Items discussed were:
- Enrollment (Journey is funded by daily attendance of students)
- New dismissal system
- COVID Safety (any confirmed cases will be handled on a case by case basis, and any students potentially in contact with affected person will be contacted)
- Reminder to complete daily health screenings
- Volunteerism- goal is to get parents on campus soon with creation of safe plan to return
