PC Classroom Representative Responsibilities
Class Representatives
Each class at Journey will have one PC representative and one backup representative. Candidates may either volunteer or be nominated. If more than two candidates express interest, a vote will be conducted to determine the representatives.
Role
Representatives will attend monthly meetings, typically held on the second Wednesday of each month. Each class PC Representative has 1 vote on Parent Cabinet action items including approval of meeting minutes, election of the Executive Committee, and approval of the annual budget.
Responsibilities
Representatives serve as a vital link between the Parent Cabinet and the parent community, ensuring clear and effective communication. They also help coordinate key aspects of PC fundraisers, including securing class auction donations and organizing Harvest Faire booths.
