Many thanks to all the families who took part in our annual Read-A-Thon! What a tremendous success! We had 363 students participate with a grand total of more than 205,000 minutes read. Wow! Additionally, we have received over $33,000 in donations to support literacy and our Waldorf-inspired program. Well done, everyone!
A big thank you to all students who submitted drawings for the Bookmark Contest. What a talented group of resident artists we have!
We also are pleased to announce the winners of the Class Parties for raising the most funds in each grade band!
Huge congratulations to Mr. Breazeale's 4th Grade for being the class with the most total Reading Minutes!
The Journey Annual Read-a-Thon is a fun and meaningful event held every January to inspire children to read while raising money for a great cause. Participants collect donations, and every child who raises at least $30 receives a pair of special Journey socks. All children receive a bookmark, with a chance to showcase their creativity in the bookmark design contest. The top three classes with the most participation win exciting prizes, making it a rewarding experience for everyone involved!
